“THE OUTER RIM”, a sci-fi web series, brimming with adventure, action and exciting stories is set to launch. Placed in the latter half of the 22nd century, the Unified Worlds Consortium runs the show. A shadowy government owned and run by Earth’s most powerful corporations and industries dominates in a false utopia. Profit and acquisition is the name of the game. At the top is Fleet Command, which operates The Corporate Fleet; huge vessels that that explore and police “Acquisition Colonies”. Freelancers, Colonial ships, free traders and pirates scrape their way to a better life out on “the lanes”.
